We provide care for 34 level II residents, and we have 21 suites dedicated to providing assisted living for independent residents.
As an affiliate organization of the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region, we follow the highest standards and best practices of public health care and draw on the expertise available in the region.
As a small care home, we enjoy strong ties between the Board of Directors, senior leadership, staff, and residents and their families. This dynamic makes for a truly unique, home-like atmosphere.
Through our close affiliation with the Anglican Diocese of Qu’Appelle, we are enmeshed in a faith community of several parish churches in the city of Regina and southern Saskatchewan. The values of community, character, and compassion that animate the Diocese of Qu’Appelle also permeate our culture.
We are funded by the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region as an affiliate organization. We retain ownership and are able to determine our own governance structure to most effectively pursue our mission and ministry.
The Qu’Appelle Diocesan Housing Company (QDHC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Diocese of Qu’Appelle. The Board of Directors of the QDHC is appointed by the Diocese of Qu’Appelle, the sole shareholder, and the Board reports to the Diocese, although the Diocese does not manage the affairs of the QDHC.
We endeavour to cultivate an atmosphere in which attentiveness, helpfulness, and empathy characterize our interactions with one another.
Honesty, trust, and respect mark our relationships with fellow leaders and staff, and with residents and their families.
We hold to the highest standards of professionalism, continuous improvement, ethics, and stewardship.
The broad involvement of diverse partners, especially residents and their families, shapes our decisions and planning.
We aim to cultivate deep relationships and belonging between families, residents, staff, leadership, the diocese of Qu’Appelle, and the people of Regina.
